Refunds and cancellation
Last updated 13 August 2026 · covers the Uplink app suite · the canonical copy
Every Uplink tool is sold as a subscription, through Paddle.com as merchant of record. This page is the refund and cancellation policy, and it is deliberately short: if you ask within 14 days of a charge, you get that charge back. No reason required, nothing to prove.
01 The 14-day refund
Any charge is refundable in full for 14 days. That covers your first payment and every renewal after it. You do not have to explain why, you do not have to show a fault, and it does not matter how much you used the software in the meantime. Ask inside the window and the money goes back.
There are no exceptions to this and no conditions on it. If a sentence anywhere else on this site or in the EULA appears to narrow it, this page wins.
02 How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address on the account and say you want a refund. That is the whole process. You can also request it through Paddle, who handle the payment, using the receipt they emailed you at purchase.
Refunds are issued by Paddle back to the original payment method and usually land within a few business days, depending on your bank.
03 Cancelling is separate
Cancelling and refunding are two different things, and you can do either or both. Cancel from your account at any time: it stops the next renewal, and your paid features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for. Refund returns the money for a charge in the last 14 days. If you want both, say so and you get both.
04 Paddle is the merchant of record
Paddle.com handles the checkout, the receipt, sales tax and VAT, and every refund — a charge reads as Paddle on your statement. Their buyer terms also apply to the transaction, and their buyer support can help with billing questions directly.
05 Reaching a person
Refunds and cancellations: [email protected]. Anything legal: [email protected]. Uplink is one person, so both reach the human who builds the software.
